In Gallia: Rise of Clans the main goal of this game is to help the Gauls revolt against the conquering Romans and win back village after village. Before each battle starts the Gauls line up in front of the village and start provoking the Romans.

Once the fight starts you must use your catapult to throw boulders at the endless rows of attackers. Romans hold up shields with various colors so you must try to hit those groups that have the most similar colored shields to wreck havoc amongst them.

On your side you have a helpful Druid named Neocomix that will prepare magic potions you can purchase for in-game coins. These powerful conjurations will make the Romans surrender and retreat to the next village.
